Glacier-Banff-Jasper National Park Tour with Bicycle Adventures - Day 1, July 2, 2023

I started the GBJ tour with Bicycle Adventures today and 11 other riders. An excellent group with which to ride and with 2 exceptional Tour Leaders, Jenna Moog and Paxton Brewer! Our folks came from all over for this epic trip: Kety Hernandez - New Jersey; Kathy S - Bend Oregon; Mary Jo - Chicago and N Carolina; John & Sheila Duggan - Chicago & Tucson; Lin and Lynn Hancock - Chicago; Nic Eiron and Sally Abel - S Bay area; Art Lindgren and Susan Perin - Bloomington Indiana or Illinois....not sure which. Guides were: Paxton Brewer - Crystal Mountain, WA; and, Jenna Moog - Snoqualmie Pass, WA We stayed at Grouse Mountain Lodge in Whitefish. First ride of about 44 miles to shake down our bikes and ourselves! I needed to learn to ride their ebike and how to manage the battery on it - I was a little concerned about whether or not it would be up to the job (I need not have worried as it turns out that it did the route perfectly given my style of riding on it). A highlight of our ride (other than the headwinds) was the shore by Lake MacDonald in Glacier NP. What views!
