TREATS Social Ride, March 7, 2023

On this gloriously sunny Tuesday morning, 20 of us headed out from Woodinville on our Three Lakes route (Lk Union, Green Lake, & Lk Washington) for the weekly TREATS* social ride. Due to our group size, we split into two flights and met up at the rest stops and coffee stop.  The latter was at the Queen Bee Cafe in Clyde Hill adjacent to SR-520. Great snacks and conversations today.  We even beat the rain back to the start although there were a few warning drops on the return!

Special kudos to Alder & team at R+E Cycles (home of Rodriguez Bicycles) as I experienced a significant rear derailleur jam when sweeping today (it might have been operator error). Fortunately, it was only a 2 block walk with the bike to their shop. They jumped on the problem, quickly unjammed the derailleur, got the shifting re-aligned, and sent me on my way to join up with the group on the SR-520 Floating Bridge part of the route!  Thanks for the amazing service!

Special thanks also to Allan A. and Ed H. for co-leading today.

Also riding: Karil M., Lee S., Clarice S., Don L., Teresa N., David S., Jim N., Tom G., Jim S., Lee G., Deanna G., Joan L., Robin Q., Marianne O., Dayle I., Peter H., and Randy S..
